About Levi

 

Growing up with my Dutch family in Bhutan (Asia) I developed my intercultural taste. 

At the age of 16 I moved to Amsterdam and started cooking in a 2 Michelin star restaurant &Samhoud Places with Chef Moshik Roth . Working hard and learning fast, I knew I found my  passion, the most precious in life cooking.

 

Working in several top kitchens in South Africa, New Zealand and The Netherlands, I was fascinated with global flavors and kitchens. The past 14 years I’ve been meeting new cultures, discovering new techniques and combining  molecular cooking with classic and old traditions.

 

The past 6 years I have been working as Chef on a luxury yacht sailing around the Mediterranean and Caribbean Sea. I learned to cook the high class standards, facing the daily challenges with passion, flexibility and the finest quality ingredients. 

 

As a chef, I’m creating new compositions, discovering new products, purchasing and developing them for haute cuisine. My passion for cooking motivates me to develop beyond all boundaries, focusing on the best flavour and experience.
